Our Values
These are the values that guide how we live, grow, and do church together. They shape who we are and who we’re becoming as we follow Jesus.
Growing People Experience Transformation
We believe growing in faith means staying open to God’s work in our lives. As we read His Word, pray, and do life together as the church, He continually shapes us to become more like His Son —Jesus. We believe every believer is called to be an active part of a local church and to grow together in faith and community.
Saved People Serve People
We believe God has given each of us unique gifts and talents hat God calls us to exercise when building the Church. When we use those gifts to serve others, we grow in our faith, build meaningful friendships, and help the church thrive. Every gift matters, and every person has a part to play in the body of Christ.
Found People Find People
Every one of us is here because Jesus chose to leave heaven and come to earth to rescue us. He found us. He calls us to do the same—to go and reach those who don’t yet know His love and grace. Whether that’s across the street or across the world, we believe every believer is called to live on mission and help others find Jesus.
You Can’t Outgive God
God is very generous. We believe generosity reflects the heart of God, who gave His Son for us. As His children, we’re called to live generously with our time (e.g. volunteering in local church activities), resources, and finances —serving others, giving to those in need, and faithfully giving to the local church (tithe).
Life is Best Done Together
We believe life is better together. The Bible shows us that we’re not meant to walk through life or faith alone. That’s why Life Groups are such an important part of our church family—a place to build meaningful relationships, grow in faith, discover and use your God-given gifts, and do life together.
Our Beliefs
We believe what we hold to be true really matters. These shared convictions shape how we understand God, how we follow Jesus, and how we live out our mission together.
Scripture
The whole Bible, in its original writing, fully inspired of God. We accept His Words as the supreme and final authority for our faith and life. — 2 Timothy 3:16
Creation
We believe God created man in His own image. Man sinned and incurred the penalty of sin and separation from God. — Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12,18
Atonement
Jesus’ death paid the price for our sins. He was the sacrifice and it is by His blood we are made free; His body buried and then resurrected on the third day. We believe Jesus will return in glory. — 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25; John 14:1- 2, Matthew 25:31-33
Holy Spirit
The baptism of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit and that His presence and power is among us. We earnestly seek these gifts, and believe they are still applicable today. — John 16:13; Galatians 5:22; 1 Corinthians 12,13,14
Healing
Divine healing – present in the Old and New Testaments – an integral part of the Gospel today. — Mark 16:16-18; Matthew 8:16-17; 1 Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14- 15
Five-Fold Ministry
We believe in the five-fold ministry. That they are a gift to the church. Christ gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, equipping believers for the work of service to build up the body of Christ. — Ephesians 4:11; Romans 12:4-8
Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. — Matthew 28:19
Salvation
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man, the Saviour of humanity. — Luke 1:26-35; Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6 For all who confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead. By this declaration of faith and the perfect and finished work of the cross, all who repent of their sins and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour are born again as children of God. — Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12,22
Grace
For all who confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead. Accountability
We partner with the NCMI (New Covenant Ministries International) team which serves to provide on invitation oversight and accountability in church governance, doctrine and personal behaviour.
Church Body
The priesthood of all believers. The church as God’s plan to reach the world and share the love and good news of Jesus. We are the priesthood of all believers in Christ Jesus. We believe the local and global church should work together to serve God, people, and on another in unity and honour. – 1 Peter 2:9
Baptism & Communion
We believe that Jesus appointed two sacred acts for the church to demonstrate the faith: baptism in water and the Lords’ Supper (Communion). Baptism is the immersion of the believer in water as a confession of identification with Christ’s burial and resurrection. Communion is partaking in an active remembrance of what Christ did for us and a celebration of what we receive because of His sacrifice. — Matthew 28:19; Acts 19:1-6; 1 Corinthians 11:28 -32
Community Impact
We believe the church is called to be the hands, feet, and love of Jesus in our community. Through our Community Impact, our heart is to reach out, meet practical needs, and bring hope to those around us. We want people to experience the love of Jesus—not just on a Sunday, but in their everyday lives.
