At The Bridge, our heart is to connect all people to encounter God’s Word & Spirit. We want to be transformed and transform lives through the love of Jesus.
Whether you're new to faith, seeking deeper spiritual growth or looking for community, we’re passionate about equipping you to live out your faith with purpose and confidence.

We are committed to being rooted in God’s Word & Spirit —focused on His mission, shaping how we live, love, and serve every day.

We are a people who desire to encounter God, and revel in His presence in every aspect of our daily walk with him. His presence in our lives is paramount, through His word, in prayer, in worship and prophetically by His Holy Spirit.

God is an engaging Spirit. From the Garden of Eden to today He has engaged mankind. Our mandate through Matthew 28, is to engage all people from all walks of life. Not just Christians. As a bridge to our community we want to engage people at every level, to reveal the Father’s heart to them.

As part of our vision at The Bridge, we desire to see a “Priesthood of Believers”, equipped for the work of the ministry, wherever your ministry or harvest field may be. As a Priesthood we are all ministers of the Gospel, and God has called us to serve and be a blessing to those around us.

Whenever God has a plan, he has a person for that plan. We envision empowering people to be leaders wherever God has placed them. In business, in schools, in the church and beyond. Our desire is to see men, women and children fulfill God’s call upon their lives.

Jesus’s heartbeat was “to the ends of the earth.” We are meant to be global thinkers. Our starting point is to extend God’s kingdom to our neighbours, family, and to the local church. Our heart is to not only build bridges to our community, but we want to make Jesus famous in every nation, in every city, town, village everywhere
We believe what we hold to be true really matters. These shared convictions shape how we understand God, how we follow Jesus, and how we live out our mission together.
The whole Bible, in its original writing, fully inspired of God. We accept His Words as the supreme and final authority for our faith and life. — 2 Timothy 3:16
We believe God created man in His own image. Man sinned and incurred the penalty of sin and separation from God. — Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12,18
Jesus’ death paid the price for our sins. He was the sacrifice and it is by His blood we are made free; His body buried and then resurrected on the third day. We believe Jesus will return in glory. — 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25; John 14:1- 2, Matthew 25:31-33
The baptism of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit and that His presence and power is among us. We earnestly seek these gifts, and believe they are still applicable today. — John 16:13; Galatians 5:22; 1 Corinthians 12,13,14

We believe in the five-fold ministry. That they are a gift to the church. Christ gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, equipping believers for the work of service to build up the body of Christ. — Ephesians 4:11; Romans 12:4-8
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. — Matthew 28:19
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man, the Saviour of humanity. — Luke 1:26-35; Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6 For all who confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead. By this declaration of faith and the perfect and finished work of the cross, all who repent of their sins and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour are born again as children of God. — Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12,22

We partner with the NCMI (New Covenant Ministries International) team which serves to provide on invitation oversight and accountability in church governance, doctrine and personal behaviour.
The priesthood of all believers. The church as God’s plan to reach the world and share the love and good news of Jesus. We are the priesthood of all believers in Christ Jesus. We believe the local and global church should work together to serve God, people, and on another in unity and honour. – 1 Peter 2:9
We believe that Jesus appointed two sacred acts for the church to demonstrate the faith: baptism in water and the Lords’ Supper (Communion). Baptism is the immersion of the believer in water as a confession of identification with Christ’s burial and resurrection. Communion is partaking in an active remembrance of what Christ did for us and a celebration of what we receive because of His sacrifice. — Matthew 28:19; Acts 19:1-6; 1 Corinthians 11:28 -32
Our heart is to serve outside the four walls of the church & to minister to the community and beyond. We currently partner with The Scott Mission (Toronto), Durham Outlook Food Bank and give translocally to support extending the Kingdom around the world.
